Food, funds and friends: Regence makes a difference
Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon (Regence) has been instrumental in strengthening the internal structure of Oregon Food Bank and continues to be a powerful OFB Network partner.
In July 2012 alone, Regence’s statewide food drive collected 610 pounds of non-perishable food, raised $2,572 in general support. In addition, Regence employees volunteered 293 hours at various agencies throughout the state. What’s more, Regence recently made a $25,000 donation to Oregon Food Bank and issued a match challenge to donors in our quarterly newsletter. Inspired?
