Take Action

We are all part of the solution

Ending hunger is a collective effort. It begins with recognizing that across all of our differences, we share many things in common. Regardless of where we were born or what language we speak, we all need a safe, stable place to live. We all need medical care to keep us healthy. We all deserve a chance to build better lives for ourselves and our families.

When we speak up for policies that support everyone, we help shape a brighter future for all of us.

Make a difference with us

We can end hunger for good when we organize, advocate and work together to change the conditions that lead to hunger: poverty, unemployment, unaffordable housing and inadequate healthcare. Here are some of the ways you can join us.

Join a movement for fairness and justice

Hunger is not a personal choice or an individual experience. It can happen because of things we can’t control, and it affects all of us. Oregon Food Bank is building a movement to end hunger now and prevent it long-term by fighting for policies that ensure all of us can thrive.

Support producers providing food for their communities

Our community producer support fund programs invest in local BIPOC, immigrant and refugee, trans and gender expansive, and single caregiver farmers, ranchers and fishers, in building up their business capacity and ensuring that fresh, local, culturally familiar foods are reaching communities facing disproportionately high rates of hunger. Together, we’re fostering connections and support that promotes health, well-being, food sovereignty, and financial stability in local communities throughout the region.
