Immediate and ongoing food needs

OFB needs donations of nutritous, shelf-stable, packaged food.

  • Canned vegetables, fruits and meats
  • Flour
  • Oats
  • Soup
  • Macaroni and cheese
  • Nonfat dry milk
  • Pasta
  • Nuts
  • Cooking oils

Protein tops OFB's ongoing needs list.

  • We never have enough protein. Dry beans, peanut butter and nearly any form of meat will always be high on our needs list.
  • Cheese is also high in protein and makes a tasty addition to many meals.

OFB needs healthy breakfast foods

Children who are hungry have more difficulty learning. Help OFB provide healthy breakfasts for children as they return to school.

  • Cereal
  • Pancake mix
  • Nonfat dry milk
  • Breakfast bars

Seasonal and occasional needs
We also have seasonal or occasional needs. Bottled water is often a critical need during forest-fire season. We especially value fresh produce during damp winters and springs. We always need cereals. But oatmeal is especially nice on cold mornings.

Just think of the foods that make your own days more pleasant. Whatever they are, we probably need them, too.
