Oregon Food Bank needs goods and services

Oregon Food Bank needs to move and store nearly every food donation it receives.

Packaging services
Either Oregon Food Bank or a contractor needs to package many donations in some way, especially frozen foods and powders, such as cocoa and flour and liquids.

Refrigerated transportation and storage
We have increasing needs for refrigerated transportation and storage.

Boxes and bags
We use large quantities of packaging materials, particularly boxes. We collect food in boxes during food drives. Our volunteers fill boxes and bags. We use boxes to ship. And, of course, our agencies need boxes to hold the food they give to their clients. We repackage many bulk donations into smaller, family-sized portions using bags.

All of the money we spend on these products and services could be used to acquire food.

Yes. I want to make a cash donation >
