Postcard reflection

Summary: Students will reflect on their volunteer experience.

Time: 20 minutes

Age: Any

Materials: Postcards
Pens

Preparation: Write questions on the board, set out postcards and pens

Group size: Unlimited

Procedure:

1. Write the following questions on the board or create your own:

1. What was your favorite thing about volunteering?
2. Name something you learned about hunger.
3. Name one thing you did really well today.

2. Give a postcard to each student. Tell students to address the postcards to themselves. Then ask them to write their answers to the questions on their postcards.

3. Mail the postcards to the students about two weeks later. When they receive the postcards in the mail, they will remember their volunteer experience!
