Metro Services helps Multnomah County

OFB's Portland Metro Services partners with sites in Multnomah County that provide:

• emergency meals
• emergency food boxes
• shelters
• low-income childcare
• and supplemental distribution for programs such as
  • Harvest Share
  • Community Basket
  • Gleaning

Metro Services helps Multnomah County in other ways:

• provides classes on handling food, skillet-meal demonstrations and other topics related to operating sites,
• distributes U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) commodities to emergency sites and
• manages the Emergency Food and Shelter Program grant to collect and distribute food.

Metro Services also distributes food in Clackamas County and in Clark County, Wash.
