CORPORATE DONOR OF THE MONTH: Delta Fire

July 2020 – Oregon Food Bank is delighted to honor Delta Fire as our Corporate Donor of the Month. Delta Fire, Inc. is a locally owned company in Portland that was founded in 1987. After 33 years, Delta Fire has established themselves as a leader in the fire protection industry in Oregon, and is proud to be family owned and operated.

“The team at Delta Fire, Inc. is proud to support the Oregon Food Bank. In these difficult times, with so much on people’s minds, it can be easy to forget that food insecurity affects everyone. That is why supporting organizations such as the Oregon Food Bank is so crucial, especially now.”

– Steve Cartales, President, Delta Fire, Inc.

Delta Fire is a major sponsor of our annual events including Oregon Harvest Dinner and the National Association of Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Delta Fire also sponsors a delivery truck to bring food throughout Metro Portland. Their significant donations help Oregon Food Bank to meet immediate needs and work towards nourished, resilient communities.

In addition to financial support, Delta Fire employees engage in learning events at Oregon Food Bank. As a partner, Delta Fire is engaged in numerous ways to end food insecurity in our neighborhoods, cities, and state.

Thank you, Delta Fire, for your leadership and to your employees for their longstanding commitment to hunger relief in Oregon and SW Washington, especially at this unprecedented time.
