Corporate Donor of the Month: Wells Fargo

DECEMBER 2019 – Thank you to Wells Fargo and Wells Fargo employees! We are pleased to recognize Wells Fargo as Corporate Donor of the Month for December.

A long-time partner of Oregon Food Bank, Wells Fargo demonstrates its commitment to ending hunger annually through significant volunteerism by their employees that totals over 365 hours!

Taking their support even further, Wells Fargo became a sponsor of the first statewide long-haul truck, driving their impact around the state and SW Washington with a 3-year partnership.

Additionally, this holiday season, Wells Fargo is holding their second annual holiday giving campaign where donations made at the ATM and online will be matched. Wells Fargo also is collecting food donations as part of this campaign at all their branches to help provide holiday meals. This past year, Wells Fargo collected and donated over 4,000 pounds of food.

“Like Oregon Food Bank, all of us at Wells Fargo believe that no one should go hungry, here in Oregon, or anywhere for that matter. We are delighted to team up with Oregon Food Bank again this year for our Holiday Food Bank effort to collect food at our 107 branches across the state and monetary donations at our ATMs. Together, we can help make more meals possible for Oregon families this holiday season.”

– Tracy Curtis
Northern Oregon Region Bank President, Wells Fargo

And in June, Wells Fargo executives came out to volunteer a helping hand and repack food in the Volunteer Action Center. We are enormously grateful for our partnership together with Wells Fargo who donated over $92,000 in the last year.

Thank you, Wells Fargo, for your commitment to end hunger in our community!
