For decades, Sysco Portland has partnered with Oregon Food Bank to provide not only much-needed financial support, but also food donations, volunteers, and even Board participation.

Sysco Portland is a leader in providing foodservice products to restaurants, healthcare facilities, and other local customers who prepare high-volume meals. As COVID-19 hit our communities, institutions shuttered, unemployment skyrocketed, and businesses like Sysco Portland had to pivot quickly to avoid food waste. Sysco Portland jumped into action and has been bringing food to the Oregon Food Bank Network by the truckload to help meet the rapidly growing need for food assistance 

The partnership between Oregon Food Bank and Sysco Portland has provided countless meals to our neighbors and continues to create long-term, systemic changes for communities most impacted by hunger and its root causes.
