CGFB Reopens Wahtonka Community Food Pantry

There is now a new option to access free nutritious food on the West side of The Dalles. The Columbia Gorge Food Bank (CGFB) is excited to reopen and serve as the interim operator of the Wahtonka Community Pantry at the Wahtonka School.

Starting July 14, the food pantry will be open every second and fourth Thursday from 4:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m. at 3601 W 10th St, The Dalles, OR. Just follow the Food Pantry signs. This shopping-style pantry offers fresh produce, meat and protein, staples and more with visitors able to choose what best serves their dietary, cultural and family needs.

CGFB is seeking bilingual volunteers to help at the Wahtonka pantry. For more information, please contact Scott Radford, CGFB Operations Manager, at 541-370-2333 or sradford@oregonfoodbank.org.
