CORPORATE DONOR OF THE MONTH: Ford

FEBRUARY 2018 – Thank you to Ford Motor Company for its significant contributions to fighting childhood hunger in Oregon and Clark County, Washington. We are proud to recognize Ford as the Corporate Donor of the Month for February.

“Children cannot learn if they’re hungry. Ford Fund supports child hunger programs so that every child has a chance to learn, grow and realize their potential.”

-Larry Gregerson, Program Manager, Ford Motor Company Fund

Thank you Ford Motor Company Fund for you commitment to eliminating child hunger. Last year Ford supported the purchase of nearly 2.3 MILLION servings of nutritious, kid-friendly foods. Imagine: four full truckloads of oats, two of milk, and one of applesauce. That is FIVE tractor trailers full of food for children struggling with hunger all over Oregon and Clark County, Washington.

Last year Northwest Ford Dealers and Ford Motor Company Fund hosted their fourth annual Ford Peanut Butter Drive and collected more than 75,000 pounds of peanut butter in May and June to help food banks meet the summer demand for the desirable, kid-friendly food.

Thank you, Ford Motor Company Fund and Northwest Ford Dealers, for your generous support of Oregon Food Bank!
