CORPORATE DONOR OF THE MONTH: Intel

APRIL 2018 – Thank you to Intel and its employees for their continued support of Oregon Food Bank. We are excited to recognize Intel as the Corporate Donor of the Month for April because of its financial contributions, support from volunteers and food drive donations.

“Intel is committed to being an asset to our local community here in Oregon. The amazing employees that make up Intel’s largest and most advanced site in the world are right here in our backyard, driving our giving and volunteer efforts on a daily basis.

By working to support a diverse set of local organizations, perspectives, backgrounds, and beliefs, we can strive to solve the world’s toughest problems and unlock a new era of innovation.

On behalf of everyone here at Intel, thank you to Oregon Food Bank for fighting to eliminate hunger and its root causes.”

-Carly Riter, Public Affairs Director, Intel

Thank you to Intel and its employees for their continued support of Oregon Food Bank. We are excited to recognize Intel as the Corporate Donor of the Month for April because of its financial contributions, support from volunteers, and food drive donations.

The company has made a commitment to contribute the best resource it has to make our community a better place: Intel employees.

The culture of giving at Intel encourages employees and retirees to get involved in two ways. The Intel Foundation donates $10 for every hour volunteered. In addition, the company offers a matching gifts program that doubles financial donations made by employees and retirees.

Last year alone, employees, along with Intel Foundation Matching Gifts, donated an incredible $285,000 to help end hunger in Oregon.

Add in an additional 12,700 pounds of food from food drives and it becomes clear that Intel employees and retirees really go above and beyond in helping fight hunger in our communities.

Thank you, Intel and its employees for your generous commitment to our work at Oregon Food Bank!
