Statement on Screening of Gaining Ground

September 22, 2106 – Oregon Food Bank sponsored the Portland screening of the documentary film Gaining Ground, in support of building resilient community food systems and involving communities in growing food in educational gardens, which is critical to empowering individuals, ending hunger and promoting good health. We are committed to ending hunger and its root causes. A portion of this film focuses on broader issues related to farming practices, which are outside of Oregon Food Bank’s scope of work. Oregon Food Bank is proud to partner with producers across the region who believe that no one should be hungry.
